For the sauce
- 12 ounces tomato paste
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
- 1 lb sauerkraut
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
