- 2 cups lukewarm water
- 4 tablespoons (½ stick) margarine, cut into pieces, at room temperature
- Vegetable oil, such as canola
- 2 cups seedless jam, such as strawberry or apricot, or smooth chocolate spread, such as Nutella, for filling
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
